Concept for the Texas Tribal Buffalo Project Supports Reconciliation and Re-establishment
The Texas Tribal Buffalo Project is a nonprofit organization committed to healing the generational trauma of Lipan Apache descendants and other native nations who call the traditional Lipan Apache range home. Stephanie became involved with the Texas Tribal Buffalo Project when she participated in the AIA San Antonio’s 2022 Professional Practice Leadership Program. As of 2023, Stephanie is now the program’s co-chair.
The project team was a collaborative effort between local designers representing different firms. The team consisted of Stephanie Aranda, Justin Chetty, Gabriel De Leon, Josh Nieves, Oscar Prado Yanez, Ethan Rydem, and Antonio Sanchez.
